This year
the sun shone brilliantly on our Summer Fete and we were
able to enjoy this annual community event outside on the
church green. As ever, we had a rich variety of stalls,
games, refreshments and entertainment on offer for all
the family, and a chance for visitors to hear organ
recitals in our church and have a look around the
magnificent building.
It had proved to be a popular date, with several other
events in the neighbourhood on the same afternoon,
affecting the number of our visitors. However, for
St Matthew's folk it was, as always, a wonderful
opportunity to meet and chat with those families
