What a heart-warming sight it was to see so many families packed into St Matthew's on Friday, 8 December for this year's Christmas Fayre.
As Fr Nicholas said: "You cannot put a price on that."
Our job is to make the Christmas Fayre a special community event for our parishioners, their children and their grandchildren.
Thanks to everyone who donated their time, money and energy into making it such a success. We raised an amazing £2,413 for church funds
at a time when money is tight and attendances are falling.
Our parishioners came, stayed, and enjoyed our games, our food and drinks. They saw Santa Claus, the Northampton School for Boys Band,
sang with our wonderful choir and left happy - laden with gifts, prizes, choccies, drinks, and our goodwill.
