After 11
months, remedial work on the church has finally been
completed, with the newly gilded cockerel being
remounted on top of the spire on Tuesday 5 March.
Several members of the congregation were there to
witness the event on their cameras, and the local paper,
Northampton Chronicle & Echo, interviewed Churchwarden
Ann Walker and Treasurer Richard Alcock, and also took
photographs.
The article which appeared in the Northampton Chronicle
& Echo is available
here, with
their kind permission.
