Concluding our Saturdays at 4 series, we are thrilled to feature the exceptionally talented pianist, Christian-Peter Hiemstra. Christian, in Year 8, achieved remarkable success by reaching the final of the prestigious International Neuchâtel Piano Competition. His outstanding performance in the global rounds earned him a spot in the finals of a professional piano festival in Switzerland.

Christian's impressive track record includes winning the Royal College of Music’s annual junior competition in 2022, and participating in enriching musical experiences across Europe. He attended the summer school for Young Talent at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where he delivered a stunning performance of Beethoven’s Piano Trio in G Major. His musical journey continued in Salzburg at the Universität Mozarteum.

Having started playing the piano at just five years old, Christian is deeply committed to his craft, attending the Royal College of Music every Saturday and practicing diligently. Join us for a performance that not only showcases Christian's virtuosity but also his profound dedication to music.
