Fayre Enough!

And so the Christmas Fayre came to pass.

And lo and behold it raised over £2,500.

The multitudes came. Hundreds of mums, dads and kiddies from the parish packed the church – some queuing before the doors opened.

NSB brass band kicked off proceedings before St Matthew’s choir led the crowd into a marathon carols singalong which raised the rafters.

Most families, glowing with glad tidings, stayed the whole evening, feasting on turkey and pork rolls, pancakes, mince pies and mulled wine.

Our £100 cash prize raffle sold out for the first time ever.

Games galore kept the kids smiling while Santa and his glamorous elf were literally snowed under.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this a joyous community event.
